Teachers take their classes on several field trips during the year.  Field trips are a part of the school’s educational program.  Teachers coordinate field trips with the instruction in the classroom.  Two classrooms often combine to share the cost of bus transportation.  The wide variety of cultural and educational attractions in the Los Angeles area provides unique opportunities to broaden the students’ learning experience.  The PTSL has a budget that pays for a portion of each classroom’s field trips.  Transportation and admission fees, when needed, are collected from each student in advance.
